After a few quiet weeks, the Twin Cities’ Jewish events calendar is filling back up again. Check out our January and February events pages for plenty of “Jew to-do’s” between January 26th and February 8th.
Here’s my list of the must-do’s:
1/29/10-1/30/10
Celebrate Tu Bishvat and Shabbat Shira. Many area synagogues will be hosting a concert or a seder. Check out the January events page to find a celebration that appeals to you.
2/6/10
Don’t miss the Minneapolis Jewish Federation Young Leadership’s Third Annual Casino Night ! Join 200+ young professionals for a night of gambling, entertainment, appetizers and drinks. Cocktail attire is suggested, so gussy up and head over to the Metropolitan Ballroom for a night of fun. $25 ahead (prepay link on the Facebook page) or $30 at the door. Doors open at 7pm. TC Jewfolk is proud to be an event sponsor.
Update: We just heard about the hot after-party at Crave, hosted by Beth El Young Adults. The fun starts immediately after Casino Night and goes until bar close. Crave is right across 394 from the Metropolitan, so there’s absolutely no reason to head home without stopping by!
Save the Date:
2/25/10 Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival Opening Night
