More About “The K of D”:

Slipping between the psychological and the supernatural, The K of D follows skinny Charlotte McGraw, who develops a set of lethal lips after sharing her twin brother’s dying kiss. Or so people say. Friedman tears between 16 different characters in this hilariously dark urban legend about a lonely girl and her deadly skill. The K of D: An Urban Legend had its premiere in Washington, D.C. in 2006, and was a massive hit at the New York International Fringe Festival (2009) and Seattle Repertory Theatre (2011). The play is directed by Braden Abraham, Associate Artistic Director of Seattle Repertory, and was written by Chicago playwright Laura Schellhardt, based on her own small town life in Ohio.
