Legendary Rock and Jazz musician Ben Sidran will be at the Dakota Jazz club this Thursday, and we have two tickets to give away!
Sidran might be best known through the hit song he wrote with the Steve Miller Band, but he also has had a long career playing with Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, The Rolling Stones, and more!
He also won a Peabody award for an NPR show about jazz, and has been described as “the first existential jazz rapper,” whatever that means. Oh yeah, and his latest book? It’s subtitled, “Jews, Music and the American Dream.”
