TC Jewfolk takes this moment to remind you about our membership program. For six years now, we’ve been connecting you to the local Jewish community through articles and event listings. We’re a completely independent non-profit organization in the Twin Cities Jewish community, and need the support of that community to function. Support comes in many forms, like writing for the site, or joining the board of our non-profit. But one vital aspect of our continued independent existence is the financial support of community members like you: those who care enough about TC Jewfolk’s mission to donate on a regular basis. That’s why we’ve implemented this membership program; to give you a way to show your support in a way that’s meaningful for you.

What does it mean to be a TC Jewfolk member?
Membership means that you are part of the TC Jewfolk community. You believe in what we’re doing and want to help keep us a vibrant part of Twin Cities Jewish life. Maybe you don’t have the time or energy to write for us, or join our board, so you help us achieve our mission through ongoing financial support.
Are donations to TC Jewfolk tax-deductible?
Yes. TC Jewfolk is registered with the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are fully tax-deductible.
What is sustaining membership?
Sustaining members sign up for automatically recurring monthly or yearly donations through your credit card. Your membership continues uninterrupted until you request that we discontinue or change it. Click here to become a sustaining member.
Why are sustaining memberships so important?
TC Jewfolk’s sustainers provide a dependable, ongoing source of funding while reducing administrative costs. That helps us devote more time to doing what’s truly important: connecting Jews to our community and providing “1,000 ways to be Jewish.”
Is there a minimum donation level?
You can become a member of TC Jewfolk for as little as $2 a month. While the more you contribute, the more we’ll be able to do as an organization, we wanted to make it as easy as possible for you to join the community at whatever level you’re comfortable with. Donations in any amount are appreciated and will be acknowledged on TCJewfolk.com and on our Facebook page.
What do I get in return?
You mean besides the karma points for being a menschy person? For now, we don’t have any official membership gifts, but your sustaining contributions help us, well, be sustainable. As a member of TC Jewfolk, you’ll help ensure that we continue to bring you quality content that you actually want to read and watch, keep you informed about all the cool events around town, list relevant job openings, and more. And with your sustaining help, we’ll be able to do all that better than ever before. Your support will help us know that we’ll have the resources each year to make it all happen.
