Job Summary/Description:
Temple Israel, a large urban Reform congregation, is seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, engaging classroom teachers for the 2016-2017 school year in our new program JEWL (Judaic Experiential Whole-person Learning). We are looking for team players who can captivate children with a creative, developmentally appropriate approach to Judaism. Openness to grow and learn in a team setting is necessary. Experience with experiential and project based learning is a plus. Classes meet Sundays (9-11:30 a.m.), Tuesdays (4:15-6:15 p.m.) and Wednesdays (4:15-6:15 p.m.).
