These events are always special. Join Makom to celebrate Shabbat with new and familiar faces through soulful prayer and delicious food, a space to unwind, and the sweet ruach (energy) of community. This month’s Shabbat programming will be doubling as our main FUNdraiser for the annual WE ARE campaign! We will kick off the evening with a traditional Havdallah service, then transition into a Vegas-themed party with BlackJack, Poker, silent auctions, and more! I wrote an article about this event – which should be a blast. I mean $25 for an open bar, fancy dinner, AND entertainment seems like a pretty good deal to me, especially when it supports and celebrates all of the great work done by the St. Paul Jewish Federation.
