Opportunity Summary/Description:
We would like to welcome you to join our virtual Sha’arim programming. Sha’arim is a program that provides services and programs to individuals with special needs. During this confusing and challenging time, our adult Sha’arim participants are finding themselves feeling very isolated and disconnected from their programming and peers. Many are in a high-risk health category which limits their ability to be outside, and most do not have extensive social connections to connect with during this time. They are feeling disconnected from their community, so we are bringing our community to them! Our participants are eager to meet new people, make new friends, and engage with their community. We love seeing new faces.
We invite you to join our programs and make some new friends! Let us know if you would like to participate and we will be in touch. Our virtual programs run approximately 30 minutes and are facilitated by Sha’arim staff. We have facilitated activities, group sharing, and guest entertainers.
We run virtual programming on:
- Wednesdays at 7 p.m. CST
- Thursdays at 4 p.m. CST
We are looking into expanding our virtual offerings and will update you on new times and opportunities.
Additional Information:
Russian-speaking volunteers are especially needed.
