Job Summary/Description:
Bais Yaakov of the Twin Cities, a small, faith-based community school in St. Louis Park is seeking teachers for the Math, Social Studies, and English Language Arts departments for September 2021, as we expand and add on a grade to our program. Classes run Monday through Thursday afternoons. Very small class sizes, warm working environment, flexible schedule and school calendar. Licensing not a requirement, experience preferred. Great opportunity for a candidate who would like to supplement current teaching hours or for someone who would like a non-pressured position with minimal clerical work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Adhere to or modify teaching curriculum
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Document and share student grades and evaluations
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Experience and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
