Becca Mayo had to transfer away from a school known for its film program to learn what she really wanted to know about film. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Mayo has stuck around and is now the marketing and outreach coordinator at the MSP Film Society, which puts on the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival – starting this year on May 5. We talk about some of the many films of Jewish interest this year, how she found her way to this side of the film business, and what has kept an East Coaster in the Twin Cities, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
