Shana Eisenberg has performed in musicals with theater companies and been a songleader at JCC and synagogue early childhood centers across the Twin Cities. But in her debut with Six Points Theater, not only is she veering away from musical theater, but she’s taking on the title character in a sequel, of sorts, that’s 427 years in the making. Eisenberg stars in “The Moneylender’s Daughter,” which opens March 2. We talk about how she’s approaching this well-known character, playing the title character in a world premiere, and how songleading helped strengthen her Judaism, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
