As a two-time Olympian turned medical school student, Andi Murez had a decision to make: Try to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, or start a residency program. Not only did she make Israel’s 2024 swim team, she got to be one of flag bearers at the Opening Ceremonies. Now Murez is a first-year resident at Mayo Clinic in psychiatry. We talk about participating in her third Olympics, what it was like representing Israel in the first games after Oct. 7, and the transition to moving to Rochester, on this week’s Who The Folk?
