Over the course of TC Jewfolk’s history, we’ve published a ton of articles about different aspects of the holiday, from how to build a Sukkah in your porch/balcony (for those w/o a backyard, or who just want an easier option than creating a structure anew in their backyard), to Sukkot recipes like Grilled Mahi Mahi with Vinegar Spiked Vegetables and sauteed chicken breasts with honey-date sauce, lemon couscous, and late-summer vegetable ragout, to personal stories about Sukkot that you can read in your Sukkah for inspiration.
This year, Sukkot starts on Sunday night, September 30th at sunset and runs until Sunday night, October 7th at sunset.
There are a bunch of great Sukkot events around the TC all week long that we thought might be up your alley, so here goes. Let us know in the comments if you’ll be going to one of them, or if you know of any cool ones we’re missing!
Oh, and btw – if anyone knows of an Oct. 3rd Presidential Debate-watching party in a Sukkah that’s happening, let me know. I would SO be there. 🙂
