Job Summary/Description:
Job Description: The Jewish Federation of Greater St. Paul is looking for an exceptional staff member to guide the implementation of its community planning process and outcomes. Led by a Steering Committee, the community planning process has involved a grassroots listening campaign to learn what is really important to today’s Greater St. Paul Jewish community. We have looked at and gathered data, formed community panels with experts and lay leaders, and articulated realistic and aspirational goals.
Guiding Principle: To engage all St. Paul Jewish agencies, institutions and synagogues to build a vibrant, cohesive and inclusive Jewish community in Greater St. Paul. To be successful, lay and professional leaders will intentionally work together in ever increasing collaboration and with common purpose.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Implementation
Work with Steering Committee to facilitate and guide the implementation of the community planning process and outcomes.
Form, staff, and drive the implementation committees for each community-planning outcome.
Engage and motivate stakeholders, inspire panel members, and recognize accomplishments.
Communication
Work with communications team to ensure strong, timely communications.
Ensure that the process meets timeline goals and communicates with the Steering Committee as challenges arise.
Collaboration
Work effectively with Federation lay leadership, professional staff, local agencies, and synagogues.
Keep the focus on the collaborative nature of the process and the shared vision for a stronger St. Paul Jewish community. Share problems and challenges as they arise with the Steering Committee; act as the eyes and ears for the process.
Experience and Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree minimum, advanced degree preferred.
Strong analytical and visionary thinker.
Exceptional communication and volunteer engagement skills.
Demonstrated achievements in community planning and program implementation.
Jewish communal experience preferred.
