Job Summary/Description:
Jewish Family Service of St. Paul seeks an experienced program coordinator to work with JFS staff, volunteers and community partners to develop and administer educational and outreach programs which address topics such as parenting and family life, healthy relationships, life-transitions, grief and healing from loss, self-esteem, human sexuality, and other topics relating to healthy relationships, strong families and personal identity. Will staff volunteer advisory committee. Must be a self-starter with experience in all areas of program development and implementation. P/T position with the possibility of growth to F/T. Occasional evenings and weekends. Resumes with cover letter should be submitted by February 10.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will work with JFS staff, volunteers and community partners to develop and administer educational and outreach programs which address topics such as parenting and family life, healthy relationships, life-transitions, grief and healing from loss, self-esteem, human sexuality, and other topics relating to healthy relationships, strong families and personal identity. Coordinator will staff the volunteer advisory committee of the Board of Directors.
Experience and Qualification Requirements:
A college degree in social work, counseling, education or related field is required. Coordinator must possess leadership skills and the ability to inspire others. Must have excellent communication, presentation, organizational, computer, networking and interpersonal skills. Driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation required. Knowledge of the Jewish community is a plus.
