There are many ways to listen to the Torah being chanted, whether during services or while trying to learn the trope for a portion. But for Jacob Rapport, many of the popular options have flaws. So with a day school education and a music degree, Rapport embarked on creating The Chanted Torah – an audiobook of the Torah being chanted. We talk about what this project is all about, where his inspiration came from, what his next steps with the project are, and most importantly, where you can find the work, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
