Hadassah Gangster-Land Program

Hadassah Minneapolis St. Paul will present Gangster-Land: A Granddaughter’s Story, online via Zoom, Sunday, February 16, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. The guest presenter, author Harriet Grayson, will speak about her book, Accidental Gangster: Dutch Schultz and Me. The book is based on true events regarding her bootlegger grandfather, Goldy. A fisherman recruited by Schultz to help transport booze in those dangerous days, he walked a thin tightrope avoiding both federal authorities and rival gangs. This presentation on Prohibition is a delightful step back in time. Following the speaker, some Hadassah members will offer their own gangster-related stories.
