Oy, Bubeleh! You’re so thin. Have you been eating? You need to eat or you’ll fade away. Our ancestors weren’t slaves for thousands of years so you could starve yourself on tofu and mixed green salads. Come here, Bubeleh, and let us feed you.
Do you like bagels and lox? Of course you do. Do you like breakfast knishes? Why are we even asking? Come down to Rye Deli on Hennepin and let TC Jewfolk feed you before we get all fermisht.
On the seventh day God rested, but on the eighth day even God needed a bagel.
Join TC Jewfolk on Sunday, March 10th, for some bagels, some knishes, some Bloody Mary samples—it’s our very first event, Brunch at Rye Deli!
We’re hosting a brunch and want you to come. Make your bubbe happy and let us feed you. Really, it would mean a lot to us to see you there. You moved away, you don’t call anymore, you never visit; we just want to see you one more time before we die.
Feeling guilty yet?
We won’t try to sell you a timeshare, we don’t want your help ending homelessness, we don’t even care if you bring your goyisha boyfriend. We just want to see you, it’s been too long.
But oy! What does it look like, we’re made of money? Get there early because when the food is gone it’s no longer free! (Rye will still have their normal brunch menu available for purchase.)
Who: You! Your friends! Their friends! The only requirement is that you like you some tasty Jewish food.
What: Brunch — bagels, eggs, knishes, the whole deal.
Where: Rye Deli (1930 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis). Rye has limited parking in their parking lot. Otherwise there is ample street parking on Hennepin and surrounding streets.
When: Sunday, March 10th at 10:00 AM
Why: You work so hard, we just want to do something nice for you.
How Much: Don’t worry about it, Bubeleh!
Please RSVP to the Facebook event to give us an idea of whether we get to see your shayna punim.
