Make a Mezuzah with Hadassah!

Hadassah Minneapolis St. Paul is very excited about our next in-person program on Sunday, December 1 from 1-3 p.m. at Bet Shalom Congregation. Join us for a memorable afternoon with our Hadassah community as we make our own mezuzahs, fulfilling the Deuteronomy 6:9 commandment, “You shall write them upon the doorposts of thy house and upon thy gates.” Discover the history and significance of the mezuzah in a supportive, fun, and judgment-free zone. This will be a memorable opportunity for you to create your own mezuzah to bless your home or give as a gift.

Our facilitator, Liba Zweigbaum Herman from Studio Inside Out: Center for Process Arts, will guide attendees with the project, along with sharing her recent Mezuzah Project with the Abayudaya Jews of Eastern Uganda. The event fee for this unique program is $25 per person, which includes all the materials, and no experience is needed. To see the flyer, click here. To register, click here. Registration is required, and the deadline to register is Sunday, November 24.
