We’re partial to Noshin’s Jewish cooking recipes, but if you’re a fan of food (and who isn’t?), the Twin Cities have some awesome foodie blogs. In honor of Hanukkah, several wrote about Jewish recipes for the holiday, and a few of our favorites highlighted the fine recipes of Sara, our Noshin’ blogger.
We encourage you to read their Hanukkah articles, and while you’re on their sites, to check out their other recipes and foodie news. Bon Appetit, or as they say in Israel, Bete’avon!
City Pages’ “The Hot Dish” blogger Jeff Gage wrote a post on that sizzlin’ foodie news and recipe blog this Friday entitled “Noshin’ blogger Sara Rice offers fresh take on Hanukkah traditions” that not only gives us a peak into Sara’s cooking style, but also highlights one of Sara’s yet-unseen fabulous latke recipes.
Lee Zukor highlighted Sara’s sweet potato latke recipe on his post yesterday “What’s Cooking for Hanukkah? Lots and Lots of Latkes” on the “Simple Good and Tasty” blog, which promotes local, sustainable, and organic foods and the people who produce them.
The Heavy Table, which passionately tells the stories of food and drink — from roots to table — in the Upper Midwest, highlighted all three of Sara’s recent Hanukkah recipes – almond citrus olive oil cake, easy sufganiot, and sweet potato latkes, on Jim Norton’s recent weekly recipe roundups.
Don’t miss Noshin’s final tasty Hanukkah recipe this Thursday, and sign on every Thursday for something new, Jewish and delicious!
