Jewish American playwright Garson Kanin once said “When your work speaks for itself, don’t interrupt.” So we won’t.
Don’t let us describe Kanin’s comedy, “Born Yesterday,” which opened this week at Minneapolis’ Theatre in the Round for you. Want a free pair of tickets (we’re giving away two)? Tell us why YOU want to see this comedy about money, politics, sex, and backroom deals. You may have to do a little digging (or not).
Sites for more info? Wikipedia, Theatre in the Round, or the Pioneer Press (read their review).
You have until Saturday, 11/27 to enter your answer into the comments of this post to win. We’ll draw the two winners randomly. Your tickets are valid for any performance of “Born Yesterday” between now and December 12th. Good luck!

When I was a theater major in college, I had a chance to see a staged production of this, but saw The Elephant Man instead. I’ve always enjoyed the 1950 film version, but I really need to see Theater in the Round’s staging to erase the memory of the Don Johnson/Melanie Griffith version from my mind. Please help with some free tickets.
I love how Theater in the Round makes it a point to bring not-so heard of plays to Minneapolis. I love the theater, I have loved all productions I have seen there and I would love to see this show.
