Win Free Tickets to the 2011 Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival [UPDATED]

Jon Stewart: My favorite Jewish Comedian

Jews and comedy go together like peanut butter and jelly. Or coffee and sugar. Or something.
Basically, 90% of the best comedians are Jewish. If you don’t believe me, ask wikipedia.
The JCC gets it. That’s why the Minneapolis Jewish Community Center is hosting the 2011 Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival. From January 15 – 30, 2011, you’ll be able to feast your eyes on hilarious one-act plays, one-person shows, music performance, stand-up routines, improvisational comedy, story-telling, film, visual art and more—all celebrating the Jewish contribution to the world of humor.
Sounds frickin’ awesome to me.
And just because TC Jewfolk loves you so much…. you know it…. wait for it… wait for it….
We’re giving away two FREE PAIRS OF TICKETS to any show of your choice at the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival. That’s right, win this, and you (and your hot date/sister/bubbe/best friend) get to spend a night laughing your a– off, for free.

Our Picks for the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival

That’s a tricky one.
For a Great Show, and a Jewish Who’s Who (it is opening night) – check out the night of stand up comedy with Keith Barany on 1/15.
With Your Girlfriends – “Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad” on 1/20. No question about it.
Best Date Night – “An Adult Evening With Shel Silverstein” on 1/23 or 1/27. A Fringe Fest hit.
Because Amy Salloway is Awesome – “Babes in Goyland: Stories and Songs from the Land of Milk and Hotdish” on 1/26 and 1/30.
All of the events in the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival are listed on TC Jewfolk’s calendar page, and we encourage you to check out that list, and the descriptions, to make your own opinion.
