J Street’s National Conference is coming up soon – will you join me?
In two weeks, I’ll be heading out to D.C. for J Street’s Annual Conference and I can’t wait. This year, I’ll have the chance to hear Israeli author Amos Oz and journalist and author Peter Beinart, not to mention dozens of other internationally recognized experts on all aspects of the Irsaeli-Palestinian conflict.
It is the perfect opportunity to come together with over 2,000 other activists, ranging from rabbis to students, and from local leaders to community members! There is a great buzz in the air.
Last year at the National Conference, not only did I get to know other J Street Minnesota delegates better, but I met people who are active across the country and across the globe.
The conference, Making History, is from March 24-27. From Saturday evenging through Monday, you can enjoy a combination of panel speakers and events, followed by our Advocacy Day on Tuesday when we will take our message to Capitol Hill. You can attend the whole time or come whenever you can.
Reduced rate hotel rooms are available on a limited basis and several low-cost airlines fly direct between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Washington, D.C. J Street’s inclusive approach to conference pricing starts at $36.
There is really nothing better than participating in something where you learn new things, meet new people, influence history, and have a good time while doing it. That is one of the many reasons why I am looking forward to the J StreetConference.
I look forward to seeing you at the Conference!
