Big party to plan? Don’t fret. Come to the Sabes JCC’s Celebration and Gift Showcase to put all of the pieces of your party planning puzzle together. Caterers, fashions, invitations, entertainment, all under one roof at this free, annual event taking place on Sunday, November 4, 11:30-3:00 at the Marriott Minneapolis Southwest 5801 Opus Parkway, Minnetonka. This new and larger venue has enabled the Showcase to expand to over 75 of the most exciting, helpful, and unique experts who will make your Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or party vision a reality. In addition to invitation makers, party planners, and one-of-a-kind gift ideas, everyone will enjoy the bridal and party fashions that will be modeled and on display at the Showcase.
New this year is a fashion show featuring “modest” celebration apparel by Mode-sty.com that will appeal to anyone wishing to be stylishly dressed but a little less exposed at special events. We are also pleased to partner with Bridal Accents Couture, an award winning full-service boutique serving the Metro for 17 years with beautifully crafted gowns by renowned national designers, as well as bridal party attire, tuxedos, and bridal accessories. Peruse a selection of the most beautiful and unique gowns from Bridal Accents Couture, right at the Showcase.
Rita Ertl, owner of Studio One Eleven in Edina, will be available to consult on wardrobe styling and couture alterations to help you achieve “perfection in fit” that will ensure that you look your best for special occasions and for every day. Working as the exclusive atelier to Monique Lhuillier and closely with other special occasion shops across the Twin Cities, Rita will also introduce Celebration Showcase guests to the sophisticated and stylish clothing from the Worth (New York) line that she reps.
Crowd favorite, dancer Jay Diggs, will be giving hip hop lessons so that teens can learn all the moves before they hit the Bar Mitzvah circuit, and ‘Alex the Entertainer’ will be juggling throughout the day, courtesy of Total Entertainment Sound and Light Shows, who along with Games 2U Mobile Entertainment and the American Jewish World are co-sponsors of the event.
Food samples,, dueling DJs, shopping for one of a kind “Fair trade” items from around the world and a chance to win a $500 gift certificate to Continental Diamond, are just a few of the reasons that you should come join the fun EVEN IF YOU AREN’T PLANNING A PARTY IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
