TC Jewfolk: Are you from the Twin Cities?
Josh: I was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Hopkins High School. I lived in Israel for some time as a child and went to college in Michigan.
TCJ: You started Dining Delivered. What is it and how’d you come up with it?
Josh: Dining Delivered is a corporate restaurant delivery service I started in 2009. We also offer full service corporate catering through our subsidiary, Prime Catering.
TCJ: Have you always had that entrepreneurial spirit?
Josh: I have always been an entrepreneurial person and I love talking business.
TCJ: Are you involved in any other TC organizations?
Josh: I am involved in lots of Jewish organizations in Minneapolis: Beth El Synagogue, Sholom Foundation, J-Pride GLBT group, Oak Ridge, Young Leadership at the Federation.
TCJ: We’re taking an informal survey. Which of the many Jewish summer camps gets you all ferklempt?
Josh: As a child, I attended both Ramah and Herzl. If I had kids, I’d send them to Herzl.
TCJ: What’s your favorite Jewish holiday?
Josh: I like the Jewish High Holidays because everyone comes home to be with family in Minneapolis.
TCJ: Have you been to Israel? What’s your favorite memory?
Josh: When I was in elementary school, my family lived in Israel and I attended public school near Tel Aviv. Nearly twenty years later, I’m still friends with some of my classmates!
TCJ: Winter is over! What’s your biggest spring fashion statement?
Josh: Five Finger Vibram Shoes. They’re so ugly but so much fun to walk around in!
TCJ: What’s your favorite thing to do in the Cities?
Josh: Being in the food business, I like to try new restaurants. My top favorites are Bar la Grassa, Lone Spur Grille and… Wendy’s!
