Why You Should Go To JFCS’ 26th Annual Benefit On November 22

TC-Jewfolk-ADIt’s actually fun! It’s at a hotel, but it isn’t a trade show for the latest products in laminate flooring. You’ll enjoy yourself – we promise.

The event will include a “40 and Under” Pre-Party featuring a complimentary signature drink, delicious desserts — and the bouncer won’t let your parents in. They won’t be able to spy on who you are talking to.

You’ll have the opportunity to dress to the nines, meet new people, and hang with old friends.

You can purchase tickets at a special 2-for-1 rate, only for JFCS NextGen-age adults 21-40 on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Pay just $50 for two tickets on that day only if you email Todd Sandler, at [email protected].

At $50 for 2 people, it’s likely more of a bargain than your average, far less fancy and fun Saturday night. But the best part is it’s a win-win, because…

Your ticket purchase goes toward essential services that help 16,000 people of all backgrounds each year sustain healthy relationships, ease suffering and offer support in times of need. Money raised through the Benefit provides critically needed programs such as emergency financial assistance, job search guidance, mentors for youth, home visits that promote early childhood literacy, transportation for seniors and much more.

You can enjoy the comedy of Jake Johannsen, a regular on late-night TV and a favorite of David Letterman, appearing on his Late Show more than 40 times. Also, he’s not Jewish! He’s just as likely to eat a samosa as a knish on Friday night.

JFCS’ 26th Annual Benefit will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Hilton Minneapolis (1001 Marquette Ave S). The “40 and Under” Pre-Party begins at 8 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Duluth Room and the show begins at 9 p.m. For those interested in attending the Benefit dinner, which begins at 7 p.m., $150 Benefactor 40 & Under tickets are available.
