When Heather Edelson didn’t get the DFL nomination for District 49A in 2016, she was undeterred. In fact, she learned what it would take to be a better candidate and got the job done. Edelson beat Republican incumbent Dario Anselmo by a 58-42 margin to win the seat on Election Day, helping the DFL take the majority in the State House.
We sat down with Heather for a Who The Folk interview when she first ran the DFL nomination in 2016, but now we talk about what it’s like to win, what’s changed for her as a candidate in the past two years, and what her policy priorities are, in this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
