What the Hanukkah is a Silent Disco?
A Silent Disco, also known as a Silent Rave, is a new DJ solution for throwing epic parties. But now, without disturbing your neighbors!
Each attendee will be given a set of wireless headphones, with controls for volume and the choice of three radio frequencies to tune in to. The hosts (that’s Moishe House!) set up a wireless radio transceiver to play music to each of those three stations. Don’t like the current song or just want to hear something new? Next, you can click the button on your headphones to change channels – just like preset buttons on a radio. The headphones change colors to display which station you are hearing, and which ones your friends are listening to. With a Silent Disco, everyone can listen to their favorite music. Need a break? Take off your headphones and have a conversation at normal volume – no loud music forcing you to shout into your friend’s ear.
If you are a young Jewish professional ages 22-32, and want to make other Jewish friends, Moishe House is the place to do it! We will have great music, awesome friends, delicious food, and tons of fun!
