Talmud Torah of St. Paul Announces New Board Leadership

The Talmud Torah of St. Paul (TTSP) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of new Leadership to the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee leads the Board of Directors in their direction and development of Talmud Torah of St. Paul.

The three Officers and Member at Large began their terms earlier this month. They are:

  • Rebecca Noecker, President

Rebecca has served on the board for one year and was elected president in November. Professionally, she is starting her second term as a Saint Paul City Councilmember.

  • Ari Parritz, Treasurer

Ari has served on the board since 2019 and is the incoming Treasurer. He is also chairing the Day School Exploration Committee. Ari is a graduate of the Day School, Twin Cities Jewish Middle School (TCJMS), and Midrasha, and he works in real estate development.

  • Susan Cobin, Secretary

Susan has served on the Board of Directors since 2015 and was reelected to her role as Secretary. She has worked for TTSP in the past as the Day School Curriculum Coordinator and was the Principal of both the Newman School and of TCJMS at different points in time.

  • Leslie Hahn, Executive Committee Member

Leslie has served on the Board for six years and is the Chair of the Visioning Committee. Professionally, she is an internal medicine physician and geriatrician, now retired.

The Board of Directors will also be announcing the appointment of new members in the new year.

“I believe deeply in TTSP’s mission of providing outstanding communal Jewish education to people of all ages,” said Rebecca Noecker, new board president. “Now, more than ever, we need community and connection – and TTSP has generations of experience bringing the St. Paul Jewish community together.  I am excited at the opportunity these challenging times present to serve our community in new and even better ways in the year ahead.”

Talmud Torah of St. Paul (TTSP) has been the central address for Jewish education in St. Paul since 1956. TTSP consists of three major programs that provide challenging and innovative curricula for all. The Newman School is the day school and early childhood program of TTSP. The Afternoon School and Midrasha programs offer supplementary education classes for students in grades 2-12 to learn Hebrew, Torah, and Jewish culture. Hineni is the adult education program, which offers a wide variety of classes and events to inspire and meet the interests of adults of all ages.

TTSP is a beneficiary agency of the St. Paul Jewish Federation.
