Our Mission:
Jewfolk, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community media and engagement organization committed to providing 10,000 ways to be Jewish. Jewfolk, Inc. is the premier Jewish engagement organization in our local community that connects, engages, and inspires Jewish adults by using innovative methods, strategies, and communication to:
- Connect people and deepen personal relationships;
- Build awareness about Jewish efforts; and
- Strengthen Jewish communities.
We envision a Jewish community that embraces diverse ways to be Jewish, offering wide-ranging entry points into Jewish life, fostering meaning and pride in personal and Jewish communal identity, and empowering people to experience Judaism in their own way.
We will work towards this vision by connecting Jews to the community, the community to Jews, and Jews to one another. If you also have a vision of a more connected Jewish community and providing opportunities for individuals to express their Jewish identity in a myriad of ways, our Board or committees are right for you!
We are:
- Curious
- Creative
- Collaborative
- Responsive
- Open-Minded
We believe in the power of connection to create and sustain welcoming, thriving, vibrant, engaged, Jewish communities.
Jewfolk’s Board of Directors guides the organization, alongside its Executive Director, employees, and volunteers, in governance, policymaking, and financial oversight to ensure the organization’s financial security and overall success. We’d love to have you join us in a leadership role — please fill out the form to express your interest and we’ll be in touch!
