Daniel Rosen was sent away to an immersive language camp each summer — basically against his will — to get him away from his family’s farm in northern Minnesota. It turned out, that move has helped define what he’s doing now — playing music. We talk to Rosen, a jazz guitarist and singer in the Gentleman’s Anti-Temperance League about how he got his start in music, growing up on that northern Minnesota farm, and his short story writing, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
