Meet Our Past Artists
Lynda Monick-Isenberg is a visual artist and educator whose work, exhibited both regionally and nationally, explores observation, memory, and environmental connection through drawing and mixed media.
Toni Glotter is known for her expressive portraits using tens of thousands of strips from repurposed print materials. Whether the subject is a celebrity or a tiger, she constructs them from paper she folds accordion-style, then glues to a substrate.

How JCreate Meetups Are Shaped
Meetups for Jewish Creatives reflect Jewfolk, Inc.’s core values of Creativity – Y’tziyratiyut and Connection – Chibur. These quarterly gatherings are shaped by the voices and interests of Jewish creatives in the Twin Cities, providing a space where community members can share resources, collaborate, and explore new artistic ideas together. Through Jewfolk, Inc.’s Human Centered Design approach, the program evolves based on what participants want to learn, create, and experience, making each meetup a space for hands-on creativity, peer support, and meaningful connection. By centering real experiences and collaborative exploration, these meetups nurture both artistic expression and a vibrant local Jewish creative community.
