Once upon a time Scott Rosenberg was known as Shmarya and was a dedicated Chabad emissary. In 2004, he launched his muckraking blog Failed Messiah. In Part 1 of the first-ever two-part Who The Folk?! Podcast, we talk with the St. Paulite about the origin of the blog, which he sold six years ago, doing his work in the early days of blogging, and his interest in Ethiopean Jewry which started it all.
