Growing up in Israel, Adi Yeshaya’s parents thought he wasn’t taking his music lessons seriously. The fact of the matter was that he just picked it up so quickly. Yeshaya moved to the United States for college, and eventually to Minnesota where he has played with some of the best jazz musicians in the Twin Cities, and arranged for some of the biggest anywhere. We chat about his career in music, the Oct. 16 Adi Yeshaya Big Band show at the Dakota, and drop some AMAZING names of the artists he’s worked with, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
