Our first annual Minnesota Mammalehs: Stories from the Tribe show was everything we wanted it to be.
Heartwarming, funny, thoughtful.
It was a chance for our community to gather, and for our stories to be told.

We promised 12 stories read on the bima by their author, who are all local Twin Cities women, and that each story would be about being or having a mammaleh – the good, the bad, the funny, the sad, and the golden moments.
And that’s exactly what the evening was!

So while we wait for the 2025 live storytelling show, TC Jewfolk’s Editor-in-Chief Lonny Goldsmith and I are thrilled to bring you Minnesota Mammalehs: Stories from the Tribe … the Podcast!
While nothing compares to the live show, hearing the stories in community, and reacting to them as an audience, this podcast is a really, really close second!

Each week, we’ll release one episode.
And every episode includes an interview between Lonny and the storyteller and the storyteller reading her story.
