What an incredible evening we had at Sukkotgiving this fall!
From the moment we gathered, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, connection, and a sense of deep gratitude. This year’s Sukkotgiving wasn’t just a fundraising event – it was a beautiful reflection of the season’s spirit. The fall meal was nothing short of amazing, offering comforting flavors and a chance to share delicious food with old friends and new.
The highlight of the evening was the live band, The Long Honeymoon, that brought the perfect blend of energy and soul to our celebration. The tunes lifted spirits, brought people to their feet, and created an unforgettable soundtrack to the night.
And what made this event extra-special were the three incredible women at the helm – Libby Parker, TC Jewfolk’s Executive Director; Jill Avrin, our keynote speaker; and Robyn Awend, our Resident Artist, who created a beautiful moment and gift centered in gratitude for us all.
Their words set the tone for an evening of grounded joy and togetherness. Their commitment to community and to each of us was palpable, and it made the night feel like more than just a fundraiser – it felt like a coming together of people with a shared purpose.
The sense of community was strong, and there was a cozy, intimate energy that made everyone feel at home. It was a night filled with laughter, connection, and the comfort of knowing that, together, we can make a meaningful impact in our Jewish community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making Sukkotgiving such a success. Your presence, generosity, and spirit are what make this event – and this community – so extraordinary. We’re truly grateful for each of you.
Here’s to continuing the journey of giving, community, and support, as we close out 2024 and embrace the season ahead.
And thank you to MAZON: A Jewish Response To Hunger, for being our sole sponsor for this event and making it all possible!
