In Jewish folklore the biblical prophet Elijah wanders the earth to provide justice, compassion, and healing in times of distress. These are indeed distressing times. Project explores Elijah throughout Jewish history in moments of antisemitism, injustice, and the often-broken discourse around Israel-Palestine.
Free Workshop: April 16th, 7-9 p.m. dealing with an overview on sources of hate and racism while also working on developing healthy personal reactions and community action. Specifics include some learning on Jewish teachings on embodiment and trauma, along with: Recognizing and releasing embodied trauma ;simple movement techniques for healthy physical responses; creative movement for transformation of self and community.

Cia Sautter – Dancer, Storyteller, Workshop leader, has a Ph.D in Religion and the Arts, and training in movement and healing.
