David Horovitz Interviewing Barack Obama

On October 14, AIPAC Minnesota and Adath Jeshurun Congregation will welcome a terrific speaker to the Twin Cities, and I know you’re all going to want to be there!
Mr. David Horovitz – prominent Israeli journalist, and longtime editor of the English-language newspaper The Jerusalem Post – will give a community briefing on the current situation in Israel, and the challenges of defending it abroad, with his talk “A View From Jerusalem: Defending Israel in Unprecedented Times.”
Mr. Horovitz has served as editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post since 2004. He is very well known for his high-profile, in-depth interviews with all of Israel’s recent prime ministers, U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, as well as British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Russian President Vladimir Putin and, as a bonus to you music lovers, Paul McCartney. He is also the co-author of the award-winning biography of murdered Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Shalom, Friend, as well as the author of 3 other non-fiction books:

  • Still Life with Bombers: Israel in the Age of Terrorism (2004)
  • Inside Israel: The Faiths, The People, and the Modern Conflict of the World’s Holiest Land (2002)
  • A Little Too Close to God : The Thrills and Panic of a Life in Israel (2000)

This is a unique opportunity to hear from an incredible man and a very prominent speaker. If you are interested in foreign policy, the day-to-day situation in Israel, or advocating for Israel in this challenging time – this event is not to be missed.
The event is free, and there will be a dessert reception afterward. It’s also a great opportunity to learn about AIPAC’s work, both in Washington and in Minnesota, and meet the local AIPAC leadership.
Details:
The program starts at 7:30 pm, on Thursday, October 14th, at Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka (10500 Hillside Lane West, near Hwy. 394 & Hopkins Crossroad).
They expect a couple of hundred people to attend, so RSVP TODAY to Jeremy Wynes  [email protected].
See you there?
