On May 10, at 7:00 p.m., J Street Minnesota Presents: Camp David, Oslo and The Future: Negotiating Middle East Peace, an evening with Walter Mondale and Dr. Yoram Peri.
Dr. Peri is the Director of the Gildenhorn Institute for Israel Studies at the University of Maryland and a former advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Dr. Peri has written extensively on the peace process and on Mr. Rabin. Mr. Mondale and Dr. Peri will provide their personal insights from their work on the Camp David and Oslo peace accords, and will talk about how recent events in the Middle East affect the opportunity for peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
