This is a guest post by Shana Cohen, Young Adult Outreach and Engagement Manager at the Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
Ladies! Take a break on Thursday from those overtime hours at the office and join other like-minded Jewish women in their 20s, 30s and 40s at “Extraordinary Women Share Their Secrets,” a networking event presented by the Minneapolis Jewish Federation.
Hosted at the vintage-chic Semple Mansion in Uptown, this A-rated event will feature a panel of five of our Jewish community’s leading ladies in the business world. There will be wine, kosher hors d’oeuvres and plenty of time to mingle with old and new friends.
Moderated by Missy Chacre, Global Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Cargill, Inc., the panel includes Lesley Doehr, Assistant Regional Treasurer at Cargill, Inc.; Helain Pesis, Owner & Fashion Buyer of Continental Diamond; Paula Goldberg, Executive Director of PACER Center; Sheila Livingston, Director of Artistic Relations at Guthrie Theater; and Minnesota State Senator Terri Bonoff, District 43. These extraordinary women come from diverse career paths, but all share a record of outstanding accomplishments, and they are all ready to share the secrets behind their inspiring achievements. Don’t miss this opportunity, and remember to bring your girlfriends – and your business cards!
The Young Women’s Networking Event will run from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Thursday, May 24 at Semple Mansion (100 West Franklin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403). A suggested donation of $10 per attendee can be made to the Minneapolis Jewish Federation. There will be a drawing for tickets to the Gurthrie Theatre for ladies who decide to make a gift at the event!
