Your little rock star can say, “I’m with the band,” when you enter to win the chance to appear on stage and sing with Rick Recht at the 3rd Annual PJ Library Concert on Sunday, Aug. 11.
The concert features children’s Jewish rock musician Rick Recht, a top-touring musician playing more than 150 concerts a year in the United States and abroad. Kids love his concerts because they can jump, dance and sing along.
Rick will bring his lively show presence to Minnesota Children’s Museum (10 W. 7th St., St. Paul.) Along with the concert, attendees will receive free admission to the Minnesota Children’s Museum on the day of the concert and an exclusive discount on a one-year family membership, if purchased that day.
This year, at least five lucky junior rock-and-rollers will win the opportunity to go on stage and sing alongside Rick! There’s also the chance to win Rick Recht CDs. Winners will be chosen at random, but because concert space is limited, the odds of winning rock!
To enter, once you’ve purchased your concert tickets, post a message on either the PJ Minneapolis or PJ St. Paul Facebook page. Or email Jodi Saltzman, St. Paul PJ Library Coordinator, at [email protected] and let her know your youngster wants to Rock with Rick!
You must buy your tickets and enter the contest by Thursday, Aug. 1. Space is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door, so don’t delay!
Tickets are $18 per family (up to families of 6) and no one will be turned away if unable to pay. We love the arrival of our Rick Recht music on the PJ Library CDs. We’ve never seen the show in person but we sure would love to! Also, the seven-year-old in our family is a budding musician. She loves to sing and even writes her own songs.
