On Sunday, September 18th the United Jewish Fund and Council of St. Paul will host their annual dinner gala at Temple of Aaron, featuring award-winning comedian Ari Teman. Tickets are $20 if you’re under 40, and $30 if you’re over 40. Special Young Leadership event before the dinner. RSVP info below.
Seen on MSNBC, BBC, VH1 and a favorite at a-list clubs, colleges and venues around the country, Ari Teman will bring his intellectual, friendly, and sharp brand of comedy to the United Jewish Fund and Council’s (UJFC) 2012 Annual Campaign Gala Kick-off Sunday, September 18.
This year’s kick-off is sure to be an unforgettable evening. It will begin with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and lots of laughs when Ari Teman takes the stage. The event will take place at Temple of Aaron Synagogue, 616 S. Mississippi River Blvd. in St. Paul.
Ari Teman has made numerous television appearances and performed at clubs around the country. He is a Jewlarious magazine-featured comedian and was chosen one of The Jewish Week’s “36 Under 36” in 2008. Ari is also the Jewish Federations of North America’s 2009 “Jewish Community Hero of the Year,” picked for founding JCorps, the Jewish social volunteering network. A serially successful entrepreneur, Teman also co-founded NextGen: Charity, an internationally renowned convention on non-profit innovation, and Next Gen: Health, a conference on innovation in healthcare.
UJFC Young Leadership will hold a complimentary cocktail reception with Ari Teman prior to the Annual Gala. It will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Temple of Aaron and is open to Jewish young adults (and those who love them) attending the Gala.
