Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging 7th and 8th-grade science instruction aligned to Minnesota Academic Standards, assessing student learning and adjusting lessons as needed, maintaining timely attendance, grades, and parent communication, and helping create a respectful, supportive classroom environment. The teacher will also curate materials and resources that strengthen instruction, collaborate with colleagues, and support Torah Academy’s mission while working effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
Candidates should have a strong foundation in science instruction, effective classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships with middle school students and families. Qualified applicants may hold a current or expired teaching license from any state, or have a degree in a related field. We are seeking educators who communicate clearly, collaborate well with colleagues, value professional growth, and take a proactive, team-oriented approach to teaching and learning.
