Meet the Jews of Uganda on this Unforgettable Journey
We will visit several Jewish schools, visit beneficiaries of our many economic development programs, and partake in Shabbat celebrations, infused with the rhythmic beats of traditional drumming, yet resonating with the familiar warmth of Jewish traditions We will have Kosher Shabbat meals with different communities and their synagogues. If you’re Shomer Shabbat – no problem. You can stay in the Guest House – steps away from the main synagogue.
In addition to these culturally immersive experiences, prepare for an exhilarating safari game drive, a boat ride along the majestic Nile River, and hikes amidst the scenic beauty of Sipi Falls. For nature and animal lovers, there’s an optional add-on to see up close and personal, the majestic mountain gorillas in the amazing Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
