New York and Los Angeles are not the only cities hosting Purim parties for adults. Do yourself a favor and celebrate the most enticing of Jewish holidays in Minneapolis. Purim, commemorates the victory of the Jewish people who foiled a royal plan for their own annihilation. The story of Purim comes from the Megillah, a scroll containing the narrative of the book of Esther. This holiday is far from pious observance, Purim parties involve dressing in costume, indulging on sweets, and enjoying libations of plenty. Even God endorses this tempting night of tricks and treats. Plan your outfit now, you don’t want to miss the launch of the masquerade ball for all!
