You're Invited to New York Standup Comic Dave Goldstein at the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Fest

You’re Invited to See Standup Comedian Dave Goldstein & Special Guest Dylan Fresco at the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Fest this Saturday, January 21st at 7:30pm!

Don’t miss this hilarious national act as part of the second week of the Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival. 7:30pm this Saturday at the Minneapolis JCC (4330 S. Cedar Lake Road, Mpls, MN 55416).
You may recognize comedian and actor Dave Goldstein from one of his many appearances on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien (back when that show existed). His stage act, which has been praised by The New York Post (“…funny”) and The Asbury Park Press (“…this comic star is on the rise!”), is a blend of original intelligent writing and inspired live riffs—often tapping into his family’s own unique Jewish experience.
He has performed stand-up comedy on The Comedy Network, XM Satellite Radio, The National Lampoon Radio Network, and Comedy.net. Most recently, Dave was honored to perform for our troops on a comedy tour of U.S. Army bases in Europe. He’s opened for Dennis Miller, handled the audience warm up for Drew Carey’s CBS TV show The Power of Ten, and was also an original member of the improv group Far Beneath Gotham in New York City. Dave, whose career has taken him across the United States, Canada and Europe, first performed publicly at 13 as a guest of disc jockey New Orleans Slick on WFEC in his hometown of Harrisburg, PA.
Dylan Fresco wears many hats as a performing artist. He has created two hit solo shows for the Minnesota Fringe Festival: The Anton Kissbougel Technique, a mockumentary take on your typical yoga class (which he workshopped at the 2010 Humor Fest), and last year’s sold-out Domino’s Pizza Saved My Life, which explores the personal in the global through story and song. Also in 2011, he was commissioned by Rimon: The Minnesota Jewish Arts Council to create Welcoming The Stranger, a piece that weaves together stories of refugees, family, and faith. As an actor, he has appeared with Theater Latte Da, Ten Thousand Things, Penumbra, the Guthrie, Pillsbury House Theatre, Live Action Set, and Voices of Sepharad, among others.
