The Ultimate Multi-Task: Bowl and Give Back to the Community

This is a guest post by Jaclyn Grossfield. Jaclyn is the President of the NextGen Board. She is thrilled to be a part of an exciting new program dedicated to creating community, giving back and engaging the young philanthropists. When not busy volunteering, Jaclyn works at Carmichael Lynch Spong.
While you won’t need to be a pro bowler for the JFCS NextGen Spring Party, you may need the stamina of an athlete, because along with bowling there will be bocce, noshing, socializing and more. The party gets rolling at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at Pinstripes. At 6:45 we’ll have a short program explaining more about NextGen, followed by bowling and bocce at 7. Appetizers are complimentary and the full bar will be open.
The event is free to members and $10 for non-members. Join at the door and you can play and eat free. To become a member in advance, visit http://is.gd/nextgenmember.
Bring your friends and co-workers to form a team for our tournament. All young professionals, members and non-members, are invited to attend NextGen events.
More than 150 attended the JFCS NextGen Kick-off, and this party promises to be another great opportunity to network and socialize. JFCS NextGen social events provide an opportunity to meet and mingle with other young professionals and philanthropists.
About JFCS NextGen
NextGen is a program of JFCS that allows young professionals, ages 21-36, to give back to the community through social, volunteer and educational events. A membership is no more than just a couple cups of coffee—$10/month, and all proceeds help all members of the community. A few of the programs NextGen funds support are Passover meals for both the JFCS Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Mental Health Support Services Seders, as well as the purchase of bags of groceries for individuals/families in need.
