The Women’s Endowment Fund (WEF), a designated endowment fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, made up of more than 60 women who contribute to the fund annually and then collectively make recommendations on grants to distribute on an annual basis, is now seeking grant proposals of up to $5,000 each to fund one-year projects, programs and/or services that enhance and enrich the lives of Jewish women and children.
Grants are considered to fund research as well as experimental, innovative and new projects not included in the operating budget of the applicant. The availability of services and funds from other sources will be taken into consideration. All proposals must indicate how the funded project will impact Jewish women and/or children in the Twin Cities. Please note that agencies applying may only receive up to two consecutive years of grant funding.
Grant proposals must be received by Friday, July 27, 2012 to be considered. Grants are normally made on a one-time basis. Grant recipients will be announced by Monday, October 22, 2012.
