Donate $18 to TCJ and Get Discounted Tix to KosherFest on January 11

Twin Cities KosherFestYou better believe we’re super excited for the Twin Cities’ first ever KosherFest on Sunday, January 11th, sponsored by Temple of Aaron. The event will be a Jewish foodie feast featuring Chicago’s Milts BBQ Guide for the Perlexed Kosher Food Truck, dozens of samples of kosher food, wine, and vodka, kids activities, and fascinating talks by our local rabbis about everything you’ve ever wanted to know about keeping kosher. It will be held at Temple of Aaron in Saint Paul from 12noon-2:30pm.

You know it’s going to be awesome because TC Jewfolk is the supporting sponsor. We’ll be announcing the winners of TC Jewfolk’s 1st Annual Recipe Contest at the event, handing out our free “L’Chaim” bottle openers in gift bags to the first 100 people to walk in the door, and live tweeting and Facebooking our favorite samples all afternoon.

Entry is $15 for adults, and $10 for kids under 10, which includes 2 tasters from the kosher food vendors, a drink, and a sandwich. Other tapas-style samples will be available from the vendors. The food will be meat, pareve, and dairy – you choose! Vegetarian friendly.

Because TC Jewfolk is the supporting sponsor for KosherFest, we also have an awesome deal for all of you, our loyal readers, friends, donors, and supporters.

If you’ve donated $18+ to TC Jewfolk in 2014, you get $10 off one adult ticket price.

Yep, you read that right. Support TC Jewfolk and you can feast on all the kosher food, drinks, and information you desire for just $5 per adult! Two adults in your party? Donate $36+ to TC Jewfolk in 2014 and you’ll each get a $10 off coupon! In fact, you can make your qualifying donation online at our Jewcer fundraising page at any time before January 11th or in person at the event to get the discount.

The recipe contest and our sponsorship support of KosherFest are possible thanks to support from Natan/NEXT: A Division of Birthright Israel Foundation and the Oren and Sharron Steinfeldt Foundation.
