Food For Your Soul Event Combines Great Music With A Great Cause

As Sholom celebrates 110 years of service to the community, the Sholom Auxiliary’s Eighth Annual “Food for your Soul” event is adding a musical twist to the event this June 21: the dueling pianos of “Deuces Wild” will bring an energetic edge to the evening.

“This evening will be special for so many reasons,” said Sholom Community liaison Susie Held. “The Auxiliary brings that special energy to Sholom residents by providing for those extra services, musical events, and exercise classes you find at Sholom. “Food for your Soul” will show everyone how the power of music lifts us all up.”

“Food for your Soul” will be held at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins beginning at 6:00 pm. Emcee Dave Schwartz from KARE 11 Sports will ensure guests are entertained and informed throughout the evening.

“Deuces Wild brings such energy and a sense of fun you just can’t help but laugh and sing along with them,” Held said. “Combined with Oak Ridge’s great food and being among friends in the community, this evening is meant to be special for both those who attend and those who benefit from the funds raised.”

The Sholom Auxiliary provides financial and other support to Sholom in order to bring extra comfort and joy to the lives of those who call Sholom their home. Over the past few years, the Auxiliary has funded activities like chair yoga, the Live To Be Healthy senior exercise program, and live music for residents.
