Lawrence Badzin is a Minneapolis native who made Aliyah to Israel in 2002 and runs the Israeli branch of his family’s auto parts business. After Oct. 7 though, when more than half his employees entered the reserves, he was able to see Kfar Aza, which led him to support the exhibit “Through Their Eyes: The story of Kfar Aza,” to his hometown. We talk about how he got connected with the kibbutz in southern Israel, the importance of bringing Oct. 7 survivors to Minnesota for the opening of the exhibit, and growing his family’s business in Israel, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
